Museum Passes

Museum passes are available to library patrons. Call to reserve your pass to any of these Maine museums. With the exception of the Maine Wildlife Park, we can only give out one pass for each museum per day. Many thanks to the Friends of PML for purchasing the passes each year.
  • Children's Museum and Theatre of Maine (Portland, ME): Offering a 50 percent discount on general admission for up to four people. Includes all programs that are free with admission. The pass is not valid for main stage theatre productions. Passes are not accepted on the first Friday of each month when the museum offers $2 admission from 5 - 8 p.m.
  • Maine Maritime Museum (Bath, ME): Admits one family of up to eight people for free general admission to the museum.
  • Maine Wildlife Park (Gray, ME): This pass provides a $3 per person admission fee for up to 7 people (4 years and older). It covers all non-reserved events, exhibits, trails, wildlife programs and special events at the park. (The Maine Wildlife Park has agreed to our releasing more than one pass per day.)
  • Portland Museum of Art (Portland, ME): This pass provides free entry for up to two adults and six children and is valid for general and special exhibition admissions.
  • Tate House Museum (Portland, ME): A free tour of the museum for up to 4 people and 10% off gift shop items.

A word about routine passport application processing times:

Due to an increase in volume of passport applications the processing time for routine applications has been adjusted to six to eight weeks. The processing time for expedited service is three weeks. Please check for the current stated processing times at travel.state.gov .
