The Prince Memorial Library offers appointments for new applications, minors-who-recently-turned-adult applications, or minors needing to renew their passport. Appointments can only be booked online; click the button below to book an appointment.

To schedule a passport appointment, click the button below.
After scheduling your appointment, you will receive a confirmation email outlining what you need to bring to your appointment. If you do not come prepared, we may not be able to process your application, and you may need to schedule another appointment in the future.
Before your appointment, you must:
- Fill out your paper or online application completely and accurately, in black ink only. Applications are available at Prince Memorial Library or by clicking here to access forms online.
- Secure your supporting documents and photos needed to complete your application.

How do I book an appointment?
- Book an appointment by clicking the button above. Appointments can only be booked online.
How do I pay for my passport and/or appointment?
- Payment to the Department of State MUST be made using a U.S. Check, Cashiers Check, or Money Order. They do not accept starter checks. Each application requires its own check.
- Payment to the Town of Cumberland can only be made using U.S. Check, Cashiers Check, Money Order, or Cash.
Do you offer passport photo services?
- The library does not offer photo service. Photos may be obtained at a variety of locations including TripQuipment, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, Staples, AAA or CVS.
I need to renew my adult passport. Can you help?
- If you are an adult renewing a passport issued fewer than 15 years ago, you may be eligible to renew it by mail. If you are eligible to renew by mail, we CANNOT process a passport for you. Click here to confirm if you can renew by mail.
- If your passport is older than 15 years old, you must apply for a new passport and we can help!
